Sin City 2 – It’s About Time
It’s been in development for almost six years, but it appears that the wait is over…as Sin City 2 : A Dame To Kill For is all set to start filming this summer.
The fine folks at Film School Rejects share the news:
As with the original Sin City, it can be assumed that A Dame to Kill For will be a series of stories, with “A Dame to Kill For” mixed in with other Frank Miller tales. Miller will share writing credits on the film with William Monahan, who also worked on the original. Casting is set to begin next week, and production is slated for this summer at Rodriguez’s Austin-based Troublemaker Studios.
Dimension will handle the distribution. It’s unknown who’s back, but there could be cameos (hopefully at least) by Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson and Clive Owen (Owen’s character, Dwight, will ‘alter’ his appearance by story’s end) It will be interesting to see who gets cast one of the new roles, however, and one in specific.

I would think Owen is definatley coming back since “Dame” focuses on Dwight and how he got his new face which is the one we know from the “Big Fat Kill”. And also Marv does help Dwight in Dame, also there is one story that I think focuses on Devon Aoki’s character Miho which I hope they put in as well.
I’d watch, but I think the time gap between films will hurt this movie quite a bit in terms of revenue… Cant get me enough of Rosario so bring it!
