Anchor Bay Picks up ‘Bait’

It probably won’t get a wide release, but there’s a good chance that the Australian thriller Bait 3D will be a little more better than Shark Night 3D. We’ll find out soon enough as Anchor Bay has picked up the film distribution to the shark attack in the supermarket movie.

Yes. You read that correctly. A supermarket gets flooded and there’s a shark looking for some beef to go with his chips and soda!

Xavier Samuel, Sharni Vinson, Adrian Pang, Qi Yuwu, Phoebe Tonkin, Dan Wyllie and Julian McMahon star in the story of shoppers in an underground supermarket who become trapped with a human killer and a bunch of great white sharks after a tsunami hits.
